Become aware that there are things we can do, no matter how small, to protect our own mental health and support the people we care about.

We are all part of communities which link us to friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.  A sense of community is very important for maintaining our mental health and helps foster a supportive network for everyone, especially for those going through tough times. We all have a responsibility to actively listen, to support and to empower those who become vulnerable in our communities at different times in their lives.

Kinvara Alive was formed in December 2016 by voluntary members of the community in response to well-being and mental health issues within Kinvara. Kinvara Alive’s vision is to work with the local community to raise awareness and promote positive well-being and mental health.

“We care – there is hope, ask for help”
